Lluís Gómez is the International Director of Smart City Expo World Congress at Fira Barcelona. Prior to this, Mr. Gómez led the Department of Strategic Affairs at the Barcelona City Council, where he designed the electric vehicle strategy for the city among other intiatives.

At the same time, engaged with Habitat III as a planning specialist involved with setting the “New Urban Agenda” base policy for international human settlement.

Mrs. Claire Deronzier holds a Degree in Communications and she is an Accredited Chartered Director. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of government communications and public administration particularly in the field of strategic advice. As an Assistant Deputy Minister for the Quebec government, she notably led the development of public policies and the implementation of the Quebec- France Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications. She coordinated the development activities and the land-use planning of the Montreal metropolitan region. She also led the modernization of the immigration services in Quebec and abroad in the increased competitive context of international mobility. Mrs. Deronzier has been the Quebec General Delegate in Tokyo since August 2013.
