Appointed as Senior Vice President (Head of the Motor Vehicle Business Division) in April 2003. Appointed as Representative Director (Managing Director responsible for supervising operations outside Japan) of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in June 2004. Appointed as Representative Director and President of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in January 2005.

Martin Jetter
General Manager, IBM Japan, Ltd.
Martin Jetter joined IBM in January 1986. He has served various leadership positions, including General Manager of Product Lifecycle Management, General Manager and Managing Director of IBM’s worldwide business with Siemens and General Manager of IBM Business Consulting Services in Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Jetter was also appointed as General Manager of Global Business Services in Northeast Europe in July 2005 and General Manager for IBM Germany in November 2006. In these positions he was responsible for transformation initiatives in critical business segments in Central Europe. Mr. Jetter took a corporate role as Vice President of Strategy and General Manager, Enterprise Initiatives for IBM in May 2011, where he led the worldwide strategy planning and execution of IBM Corporation. In April 2012, he joined the Board of Directors of IBM Japan, and on May 15, he became the IBM Japan General Manager. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Stuttgart.

Carlo Ratti
Director, SENSEable City Lab, MIT (Boston, USA)
An architect and engineer by training, Carlo Ratti practices in Italy and teaches at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he directs the Senseable City Lab. Carlo holds several patents and has co-authored over 250 publications. As well as being a regular contributor to the architecture magazine Domus and the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, he has written for the BBC, La Stampa, Scientific American and The New York Times. His work has been exhibited worldwide at venues such as the Venice Biennale, the Design Museum Barcelona, the Science Museum in London, GAFTA in San Francisco, MoMA in New York and MAXXI in Rome, and he was included in Wired Magazine's ‘Smart List 2012: 50 people who will change the world’. Sudhir Krishna is a member of the Indian Administrative Service since 1977. Currently, he is the Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, since August 2011, in-charge of urban planning, urban renewal and urban infrastructure including transport. He is also the Chairman of the Metro Rail Corporations of Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, and Kochi. He holds a PhD in Public Finance from the Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. He is also an alumnus of the John Heinz School of Public Policy of the Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh (USA) for his Master of Public Management (1992).

Praveen Subramani
Resarcher, Changing Places, MIT (Boston, USA)
Praveen Subramani is a Visiting Professor at the Design Lab of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Santiago, Chile and a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab. His research examines the design and deployment of urban mobility systems based on fleets of shared, lightweight electric vehicles that are coupled with local renewable energy generation technologies. His most recent research project focuses on the implementation of sustainable electric vehicle carsharing in emerging markets (using Chile as a case study), and will be featured in a forthcoming publication by the International Energy Agency. Previously, Praveen led the development of the battery systems and electronic architecture for the MIT Media Lab City Car, a modular folding EV designed for shared urban use. Praveen holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Urban Design from MIT and an M.Sc. from the MIT Media Lab.

Sei-ichi Nishimoto

Sei-ichi Nishimoto (Doctor of Engineering and Professor Emeritus, Kyoto University) completed a doctoral course in Engineering (Polymer Chemistry), Kyoto University in 1975, where he studied relaxation phenomena in the photo-physicochemical systems. After pursuing his studies on laser photolysis as a JSPS Research Fellow, he joined the Department of Hydrocarbon Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University in 1977. He received his Ph.D. degree from Kyoto University in 1978 and was appointed to an Associate Professor in 1985. In 1993 he was appointed to the Professor of Excited-State Hydrocarbon Chemistry at the Department of Energy and Hydrocarbon Chemistry,Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University. From 2008 to 2013 he was the Chief Researcher, “Kyoto Environmental Nanotechnology Cluster” in the Knowledge Cluster Initiative of the MEXT, Japan. After retirement from Kyoto University in March 2012, he has been appointed Chairman of the Board, Advanced Scientific Technology & Management Research Institute of KYOTO (ASTEM RI), and Director, Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology and Culture. Currently, he is the Chief Researcher, “Creation of Highly Efficient Energy Utilization System for Realizing a Green Sustainable Society” in the Super-cluster Program of the MEXT, Japan.

Eddie Bet-Hazavdi

Mr. Bet Hazavdi is an expert on energy conservation, energy efficiency and management since 1986, currently he serves as the director of the “Department of Energy Conservation and Smart Cities” at the Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water of Israel, Eddie is now working on implementing 2020 National energy efficiency master plan to reduce 20% of electricity consumption in Israel. He is also building the Administration for Smart Cities.
Mr. Bet-Hazavdi is at the advisory board of smart cities Fira Barcelona Expo.

In this capacity, her role closely relates to Smart City platforms developed for and by Tel Aviv- positioning Tel Aviv as a“Smart Startup City”. Tel Aviv's “Digitel” Smart City Plan is comprised of a spectrum of infrastructure, communications and data management platforms, including ground-breaking city-wide free WiFi. Hila Oren holds a BA with honors and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University and is currently writing her PhD dissertation in city-branding.
